Rat Pack Takes Second Place at Pacific Cup 2024

IAC Rat Pack traveled to McMinnville, Oregon for a multi-day Buhurt International tournament which included duels, profights/outrance, and melees.

Our men’s 5v5 melee team consisted of eight fighters who went 7-1 in a round robin tournament against eight other teams from across the United States and Canada.

The team who took first place over Rat Pack in melees was Dominus, based out of Portland, who are currently ranked first by Buhurt International.

Three of our women fighters (Jennelle Brunner, Kyla Hiser, and Brittney Walker) fought with fighters from other teams in the melees, receiving gold medals.

Gavin Tweedie took third in sword and shield duels.

Ethan Watt took third in polearm duels.

Mercer Hiser took third in longsword duels.

Kyla Hiser took second in longsword duels.

Brittney Walker took third in longsword duels.

Our fighters have been working diligently at practices three days a week to learn techniques, develop strategies, and grow as fighters. This hard work was evident and displayed proudly at Pacific Cup 2024.

We can’t wait for our next big fights against the top teams.
