Idaho Armored Combat Rat Pack attended the Beltane Festival, hosted by Idaho Renaissance Faire Inc.’s for the second year at Expo Idaho in Garden City. This event was held on May 11th and 12th.

IAC Rat Pack Hosts First Buhurt International Official Event in Idaho - And Takes First!

On April 20th, IAC hosted the Idaho Armored Combat Invitational 2024, where they competed with neighboring teams joining us from Idaho Falls, Montana, and Utah. The event was marshaled (refereed) by Joseph Cadieux. The event was hosted at Nampa’s Lakeview Park and was the first ever Buhurt International official event in Idaho.

Idaho Falls Hosting New Fighter Orientation on July 1st

The Snake River Sentinels of Idaho Falls will be hosting a new fighter orientation at 11am July 1st at Tautphaus Park, near shelter 3.

This event is open to everyone, regardless of knowledge or experience. Prospective fighters, squires, and support are all welcome to attend and learn more about what it takes to get involved.

What is Buhurt?

Buhurt is a modern reconstruction of medieval tournament consisting of team competitions called “melees” and singles competitions with different categories called “duels.” Competitors wear armor based on medieval sources and use blunted steal weapons.
